- 1 April 2010 – No ESP lesson (FES Mid-term exams)
- 6 May 2010 – ESP Quiz Part 2
Important notice for students who are repeating the Foundation School course (OLD STUDENTS)!
These students, besides their Faculty courses, will have to attend a compulsary 3 hour (per week) English Proficiency Exam Preparation course during the Spring 2010 term. At the end of the course, they will sit a Proficieny Exam in May 2010. For more detailed information, please contact the FES Coordinators.
The Fall 2010 Proficiency Exam
The Fall 2010 Proficiency exam was administered on the 18th of January 2010 at 9:00. 159 students sat the exam which composed of Listening, Reading and Writing papers in the morning and then the Speaking paper in the afternoon. Students who pass this exam will be starting their relevant faculties in February 2010. Those who fail will have to continue at FES starting on the 15th of February 2010. The next proficiency exam will take place in May 2010.
The Final Exam Results for Level A students
The Final exam for Level A students was administered on the 13th of January 2010 at 9:30. 209 students sat the exam which composed of Listening, Reading and Writing. Level A students who pass this exam will be starting level B on the 15th of February 2010. Students who fail will have to repeat level A for 7 weeks starting on the 15th of February 2010 and then they sit the Final exam for level A. The Foundation English School’s exam results (the term’s average is composed of mid-term, portfolio, attendance, ESP and Final exam) for level A students are available now.
The Final exams for Level B and IELTS
The Final exams for Level B and IELTS students were administered on the 12th of January 2010 @ 9:30. 205 students sat the exam which composed of Listening, Reading and Writing. The Foundation English Department’s exam results (the term’s averages composed of mid-term, portfolio, attendance, ESP and Final exam) for level B and IELTS students are available now.
