Girne American University has embraced technology and Internet to a high degree. This is true of the Foundation English School, which faces firmly forward into the 21st century.

The Foundation English School will use the Internet to augment teaching of English by providing all students with the opportunity to complement their lessons with additional online training. Extra support will be provided for writing, reading, listening and grammar. As well, the GAU Foundation English School will be using online testing for areas such as placement and practice exams.

The Foundation English School is firmly committed to using technology as an element in its teaching to improve both quality and accessibility. Students can go to the GAU Distance Learning and then into e-learning system which also holds the Foundation English School’s tests and practices.
